Members Day and Open House at Seashore

Participate in our 2025 Members Day and Open House at Seashore on Saturday, August 16th from 9:30AM-4:30PM. Admission is free for ALL. We love our members, and this is the day we set aside to show it! It’s a great day to become a member, too!
Here is the list of what we have planned for the day so far. Check back for updates!
- All Day: Take a Ride on our Pump Car!
- All Day: Library Book Sale
- 9:45AM-12PM Rides: Take a Ride on Boston & Maine speeder 500
- 10AM: Docent-Guided Tour of South Boston & the Restoration Projects Taking Place (Nagasaki 134, Boston 396, DC Transit 1304, Eastern Mass 4387, Manchester 38, and more!)
- 10AM: Presentation – Where in the World is Seashore Trolley Museum? (Visitors Center Exhibit Room)
- 10:30AM: Tour of the MBTA blue line 0600s & project update
- 11AM: Protecting our Future: Learn About Seashore’s New 5-Year Strategic Plan (Visitors Center Exhibit Room)
- 11:15AM & 12:45PM: Rides on the City of Manchester (first come first served sign-ups in the Museum Store starting at 9:30AM)
- 11:30AM-1PM: Cookout Lunch supporting Seashore’s Annual Fund
- 12PM: Biddeford & Saco 31 travels the Butler Grove Lead; photo opportunities by Tower C
- 12:30PM: Tour of the MBTA blue line 0600s & project update
- 12:30PM: Seashore’s First 10 Acres Docent-Guided Tour. (Meet on the Visitors Center Boarding Platform)
- 1PM: Tour of the Bunkhouse (Meet on the Visitors Center Boarding Platform)
- 1PM: Model Railroad Mini Diorama Project. Purchase tickets in advance HERE
- 2PM: Docent-Guided Tour of South Boston & the Restoration Projects Taking Place
- 2PM: Presentation – Where in the World is Seashore Trolley Museum? (Visitors Center Exhibit Room)
- 2:15PM: Tour of the new Maintenance Garage (meet on the Visitors Center Boarding Platform to board the 2:15 ride to the garage).
- 2:30PM: Railway Operations Photo Ops with Biddeford & Saco 31 and the City of Manchester (Tower C). Seashore would like to take new photos with current crew members posed with No. 31. A social media contest to vote on the photos we’ll use moving forward will follow.
- 3PM: Memorial Trolley Ride for Ed Dooks
- 4PM: Ice Cream Sundaes supporting Seashore’s Annual Fund
